Ameresco is looking for an Associate Business Developer to build trust and rapport with clients, leading to upsell opportunities and retention, by using a question-based selling approach to listen to challenges and offer tailored recommendations.

Responsibilities
- Assemble and update facilities management, asset management, capital planning, energy planning and related news and industry trends for incorporation into business offerings.
- Identify, detail, support and attend / participate in local and regional client meetings (virtual and in person);
- Perform market assessments to identify competitive landscape, activity level, and business potential.
- Secure, analyze, and summarize competitive data to better position our offerings.
- Become a subject matter expert on our software platform to provide value and insight to current clients, resulting in retention and upsell opportunities.
- Partner with Business Development to produce marketing and presentation materials for customer meetings, seminars, and conferences.
- Assist with development of internal client database and catalogue of past, current, and future project opportunities.
