Mortenson is seeking an Associate Data Analyst to analyze enterprise data, develop new visual analytics tools, and identify patterns, trends, and insights to aid management in decision-making, policy formulation, and other managerial functions.
Requirements
- Shown experience developing visual analytics tools in Power BI
- Experience with programming languages, specifically Python, SQL, and DAX
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint
- Experience developing visual analytics tools, including automated data feeds and back-end integrations
- Ability to think analytically with great attention to detail
- Show ability to follow complex instructions
Responsibilities
- Extract information from internal systems, industry reports, public information, field reports, and other data sources to identify correlations
- Develop, analyze, and model operational, economic, management, and other organizational data
- Develop new visual analytics tools, such as reports and dashboards, that provide clear information and insights and can be scaled across the company
- Consume and consolidate large amounts of data into centralized, sustainable, and repeatable measurements
- Apply statistical, mathematical, predictive modeling and business analysis to manage and manipulate complex high-volume data from a variety of sources
- Track trend analyses and programmatic changes that result in a growing data base of useful information
