Apex Fintech Solutions is looking to solve the problem of designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures to support decision-making processes in the fintech space.
Requirements
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Proficiency with SQL and relational database systems (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Proficiency in working with APIs and integrating third-party data sources preferred
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and services like BigQuery, S3, Redshift, or Snowflake.
- Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and database optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) to build and deploy data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures that transform large volumes of raw data into actionable insights.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize and improve the performance of existing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and workflows.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency by applying validation and cleansing techniques.
- Implement best-practices for data governance, security, and privacy, adhering to industry standards.
- Create and maintain extensive documentation for data processes, pipelines, and architecture.
- Partner with data scientists to enable advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent work experience) required.
- 1+ year of work experience applying solutions with programming languages preferred.
- Experience in the fintech industry and knowledge of financial systems or trading platforms preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a hybrid office environment 3 days per week.
