NextEra Energy Resources needs to collect, analyze, manipulate, and interpret real-time and historical power generation data to uncover insights that drive business decisions, create predictive models, and provide useful visualizations.
Requirements
- use new and existing tools to perform a combination of statistical analysis, simple logic, machine learning, when necessary to solve complex problems, create predictive models and provide useful visualization.
- Develop and implement efficient AI, machine learning, statistical, physics based, logic based models
- Works with big data and distributed computing platforms
- Develops machine learning, optimization and other modeling solutions
- use knowledge of machine learning, optimization, statistics, and applied mathematics along with abilities in software engineering with a focus on distributed computing and data storage infrastructure (i.e., “Big Data”).

- Works with big data and distributed computing platforms

- working with more senior Data Scientists, engineers, technicians, and leaders to understand the data so that analytic solutions are relevant, and useful.
- Collaborate with other business units
- Keep up with new technologies and techniques in the field
- Consult with experts to understand data and how it translates to value
- Prepares comprehensive documented observations, analyses and interpretations of results including technical reports, summaries, protocols and quantitative analyses
