The Boeing Company is looking to support the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization by designing, developing, and maintaining complex, multi-tiered application software systems used to support the command and control of space vehicles.
Requirements
- 2 plus years’ experience with designing and developing software using Java, Python, and/or C/C++/C
- Experience with cloud-based development
- 3 years’ experience Agile Development
- Experience participating in or leading an agile team
- Experience writing unit tests
- Experience working with distributed teams
- Proficient with Agile and modern software development practices
Responsibilities
- Supports the design, development, test, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the Agile lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards
- Supports development, documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software products
- Supports debugging and resolution of issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products
- Interface with the user community for troubleshooting technical issues, user feedback, and future design concepts
- Supports implementation of current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development
- Supports execution and documentation of software research and development projects
- Interface with the integration and test team to inform execution and the development of automated tests

- Active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- Must meet export control compliance requirements
