AES is committed to meeting the Paris Agreement's goals by 2050 and is seeking an Associate Developer to support the development of renewable energy projects in Arizona and Nevada
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBase, Box, SharePoint, Ironclad, and Microsoft Project
- Engineering, planning, and project management skills
- Strong computer and research and analysis skills
- 1-3 years' relevant experience administering/developing projects and/or project financing
- BS/BA degree required with concentration in engineering, environmental, energy, planning, business, real estate development, construction management, project management, finance, or economics
Responsibilities
- Support and lead management of development activities for early-mid-late stage solar and solar + energy storage projects
- Coordinate with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and outside consultants on an as needed basis
- Support establishment and maintenance of project budgets and schedules
- Implement and maintain project task management system
- Assist with financial modeling and analysis by compiling data and coordinating with SMEs

- 10-15% travelling to project sites
- BS/BA degree required
- 1-3 years' relevant experience administering/developing projects and/or project financing
- Ability to demonstrate experience dealing successfully with peers, subordinates, management, and unaffiliated third parties
- Passion for the renewable energy industry
