Susquehanna International Group is seeking to deliver solutions for server monitoring, network device monitoring, device provisioning, job scheduling, troubleshooting and big data mining, and support Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) automation

Requirements

  • 0-5 years of progressive experience in distributed systems development, systems administration, and/or automation
  • Basic understanding of operating system fundamentals
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell or Python for example) and software development tools experience required
  • Experience in Linux systems administration in a medium to large enterprise server environment is a plus
  • Experience with Atlassian Suite tools is a plus
  • Experience with Elastic Stack (ELK) is a plus
  • Experience in enterprise monitoring, job scheduling and ticketing software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Have an opportunity to use, maintain, support and improve our enterprise monitoring, management, and automation systems and work with the latest technologies in our multi-vendor enterprise environment consisting of more than 15,000+ servers, 2000 network devices, 150 firewalls, and 250+ PB of storage
  • Partner with our engineering, development, and business teams to build solutions that drive the next generation of monitoring & SDLC solutions at Susquehanna
  • Rotate across technology spaces: As part of the team, you will be able to rotate with senior engineers specializing in a variety of management, automation and SDLC knowledge domains
  • Work with mentors: In each rotation you will be paired with one or more mentors that will guide you through your technical growth and Susquehanna’s environment
  • This role includes support of 3rd party & proprietary software as well as creation of automation scripts expanding or creating custom solutions based in a variety of technical stacks including Bash, Powershell, Python, and more
  • Engage with bleeding edge technology: Susquehanna is always looking at the latest technology to see where we can increase speed and performance for competitive advantage while managing risk and enhancing stability
  • Take part in evangelizing and implementing the latest technology, focusing on site reliability and development operations

Other

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline or comparable work experience is required
