Requirements
- Proven experience working with healthcare claims, electronic health records (EHRs), and specialty pharmacy data for real-world evidence generation and patient analytics
- Strong understanding of machine learning techniques (e.g., supervised, unsupervised, deep learning), including their practical applications and limitations in real-world settings
- Ability to interpret predictive model outputs, evaluate performance, and translate findings into actionable insights that align with brand strategy
- Successful track record of implementing innovative solutions—including AI/ML applications—within the pharmaceutical industry
- Ability to do hand-on analytics
- Solid understanding of data science and analytics
- Experience with data visualization tools
Responsibilities
- Serving as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI) and overall business product owner of all medical engagement solutions within the CAPLYTA portfolio
- Driving continuous evaluation and enhancement of data sets and products to strengthen insights and predictive capabilities for medical customer engagement solutions
- Collaborating with and influencing cross-functional partners to identify and quantify opportunities to improve patient outcomes through compliant scientific exchange, evidence dissemination and insights generation
- Develop and be responsible for the measurement framework to evaluate execution, track impact, and find opportunities to optimize investment
- Collaborate across medical affairs, scientific affairs, commercial advanced analytics, data science & engineering, and information technology, among others, to shape medical omnichannel solution roadmap and evolve scientific engagement strategies
- Provide strategic guidance to senior leaders within medical affairs, scientific affairs, and brands teams to inform medical engagement strategy and innovation
- Partner closely with HCC, privacy, and legal to ensure all solutions are grounded in compliance and uphold confidentiality
Other
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant business experience in healthcare, analytics, data science, management consulting or related field is required
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; Ph.D. is highly preferred
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, and collaborate across diverse business functions
- High intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous learning and innovation are essential
- Up to 15% domestic travel including our Titusville, NJ office
