The partner company of Jobgether is looking to solve the problem of advancing innovative molecular diagnostic programs in the oncology domain by hiring an Associate Director of Biostatistics (Clinical) in New York.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in survival analysis, censoring, and other advanced statistical techniques.
- Experience in study design innovation, power calculations, and simulation approaches.
- Familiarity with NGS, ctDNA, and molecular oncology preferred.
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 7+ years of experience in clinical trial biostatistics, preferably within oncology.
- Proven track record in mentoring and developing junior staff.
- Experience with clinical trial biostatistics and statistical analysis
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of biostatisticians, overseeing their deliverables, growth, and professional development.
- Direct biostatistical contributions to oncology clinical validation projects, ensuring scientific rigor and actionable insights.
- Develop and implement novel statistical methods and simulation approaches to support innovative study designs.
- Produce, review, and standardize high-quality documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify risks, communicate concerns, and propose solutions within cross-functional project teams.
- Manage collaborations with CROs, including contracts, deliverables, and performance oversight.
- Continuously improve team efficiency and effectiveness through process enhancements and innovative techniques.
Other
- Advanced degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- 7+ years of experience in clinical trial biostatistics, preferably within oncology.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly convey complex statistical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and foster a high-performing, inclusive environment.
