Allison Transmission is looking for an Associate Engineer to assist Product Engineering in designing and validating products, providing cross-functional technical support, and resolving issues for their core revenue-generating products.
Requirements
- Apply technical standards and methodologies to develop solutions using sound engineering principles, GD&T, and tolerance stack-ups
- Review Structural and system level analyses and make design judgements based on results
- Recommend appropriate DVP&R level to validate products and execute completion by initiating test requests, supporting data review and interpretation and a thorough review of test reports
- Support DFMEA, PFMEA activity and assessment to Best Practices to guide product design
- Presentation of assigned Opportunity Scenarios in PE tech reviews as and open issue reviews for continuous improvement of products
Responsibilities

Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (ME or EE preferred) / master of Engineering preferred
- Good oral and written (e.g. presentations) communication skills
- Technical Internship experience preferred
