Clear Street is modernizing the brokerage ecosystem by replacing legacy infrastructure with a cloud-native clearing and custody system. The equity research associate will support the Fintech team in covering a wide spectrum of Fintech sub-verticals, conducting in-depth analysis to provide investment recommendations and support business growth.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge in financial statements analysis and financial modeling skills
- High level of financial modelling skills in Excel and PowerPoint, skilled in building and updating financial models and projections.
- FINRA SIE, Series 63, Series 86, and Series 87 licenses required.
Responsibilities
- Build, develop and utilize financial models to forecast a company’s financials.
- Write company and sector research notes, and articulate the view to internal and external clients
- Perform competitive analysis, industry tracking and valuation to form an opinion and support stock recommendations
- Build and maintain relationships with Sales and Trading, industry experts and management team
- Keep senior analysts informed of significant daily news and market developments.
- Generate ideas for differentiated products.
Other
- At least three (3) years of professional experience of fundamental equity research; exposure in Fintech preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree. Master/MBA is a plus.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities to articulate ideas and investment theses.
- Exhibits a strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and both critical and creative thinking abilities.
- Able to excel in a dynamic, high-pressure, and deadline-oriented setting.

- Occasional travel may be required
