Clear Street is modernizing the brokerage ecosystem by replacing legacy infrastructure with a cloud-native clearing and custody system. They are seeking equity research associates to cover mid- and small-cap biotech companies, working with senior analysts to conduct proprietary research, write reports, and maintain financial models.
Requirements
- Skilled in building and updating financial models and projections.
- Proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint.
- FINRA SIE, Series 63, Series 86, and Series 87 licenses are highly preferred, if not already licensed, candidates will be required to pass the exams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and utilize financial models to support analyses, client communications, and investment recommendations.
- Perform targeted industry and company research by conducting surveys, polling healthcare professionals, engaging with Key Opinion Leaders, and gathering primary data for research purposes.
- Contribute to the creation of in-depth research reports, including investment strategies, data interpretation, industry or company news updates, and initial coverage assessments.

Other
- At least one year of professional experience of fundamental equity research or investment banking experience.
- Advanced degree (PhD or MD) strongly preferred.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities.
