The Associate Equity Trader supports the equity trading function for Fort Washington Investment Advisors (FWIA) by executing trades and providing insights into global equity markets.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of equity markets, trading strategies, and execution methods Required
- Proficiency with trading platforms, Bloomberg, Excel, and other financial software Preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of financial instruments, market structure, trade cost analysis and regulatory requirements Preferred
Responsibilities
- Executes equity trades across domestic and international markets under supervision, utilizing both high and low touch trading platforms/venues to ensure adherence to best execution policies and procedures.
- Continually works to understand and analyze trade cost analysis (TCA)/fill data to enhance best execution capabilities.
- Assists in monitoring market conditions, individual stock liquidity, and price movements to provide trade execution insights to investment teams.
- Collaborates closely with senior traders, portfolio managers, and analysts to understand portfolio strategies and trading objectives.
- Maintains relationships with brokers and counterparties to optimize trading opportunities.
- Helps manage order flow and trade allocations while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Supports post-trade processes, including trade reconciliation, settlement coordination, and error resolution.

- Bachelor's Degree Economics/Finance/Accounting or other relevant business degrees. - Required
