The purpose of the Integration and Test engineer position is to synthesize and define test processes for complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems at L3Harris
Requirements
- Technical Software Used: IBM Rational DOORS, Imatest, LabVIEW, JIRA, Confluence, NI TestStand, Python
- Software used: Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project
- Test Hardware: DC Power Supplies, Digital Multi-Meters, Oscilloscope, Signal Generator, RF Signal Generator, Spectrum Analyzer, Noise Figure Analyzer, Scaler Analyzer, Fiber Optic Scope Meter
- Understanding of systems engineering concepts
- Knowledge of Electro-Optical Imaging testing including optical Signal to Noise Ratio, MTF, MRTD, boresight alignment, optical distortion, relative illumination, ELRF testing and alignments, video format compliance
- Knowledge of Broadband RF/Microwave and Antenna testing for injected and radiated tests including S-Parameters, Noise Figure, Compression
- Knowledge of Environmental Qualification test such as Thermal, Structureborne Noise, Hydrostatic Pressure, Self-Compatibility EMI test, Vibration tests
Responsibilities
- Perform systems engineering tasks for both manual and automated test processes
- Develop test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, test reports, test flow, and test case design and implementation
- Execute system, CCA and component level functional testing and document results
- Use software tools and perform scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting
- Setup, configure, and document hardware and software systems under test, including loading software onto multiple devices to perform verification and validation
- Perform root cause analysis and correction action creation
- Support Operations in failure trend analysis and ensure failure trends are quickly and effectively identified and resolved
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field and 0-2 years of prior Integration/Test experience
- Ability to obtain a US DOD Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship
- Capable of traveling domestically and internationally up to 10%
- Must be able to sit or stand for up to nine hours
- Fine motor dexterity, Hand-eye coordination, Concentrated mental/visual demand
