The Ohio State University's Clinical Research Finance & Compliance Department is looking to solve the problem of supporting the financial infrastructure of oncology clinical trials by hiring an Associate Manager, Financial Operations to oversee daily operations of the billing and accounts receivable function.
Requirements
- Intermediate-level experience with all Microsoft Office Programs (especially Excel)
- B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or Management or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience
- 3-5 years working within relevant field
- Experience with financial operations, including project budgeting, contract negotiation, revenue forecasting, and post-award accounting
- Experience with billing and accounts receivable functions
- Experience with financial analysis and reporting
Responsibilities
- Project costing and financial forecasting
- Contract and budget negotiation
- Revenue recognition and monthly reconciliation
- Invoicing, accounts receivable, and audit compliance
- Coverage analysis, patient claim review, and reimbursement processing
- Leading recruitment, onboarding, and training efforts for a small team of Financial Operations Coordinators
- Driving process improvements and cross-functional collaboration
Other

- 3-5 years working within relevant field
- Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, with in-office work on M, T, Th and remote work optional on W, F
- Must be able to pass a background check and potentially a drug screen or physical
- Must be able to work a regular schedule of 40 hours per week, with first shift hours
