Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking to solve quality engineering problems, including performing First Article Inspection (FAI), Corrective Actions, Non-Conformance Review (NCR) disposition, and reviewing/approving/interpreting engineering drawing requirements.
Requirements
- Experience with AS9100 and/or a similar Quality Management System standard
- More than 1 year of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
- More than 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment
- More than 1 year of experience working Root Cause Corrective Action
- More than 1 year of experience working with Non-Conformance (NCR) processes
- First Article Inspection (FAI) experience
- More than 1 year of experience reading, understanding, and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Responsibilities
- Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation.
- Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
- Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities.
- Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
- Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
- Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
- Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.

- Bachelor's degree in one of the following relevant fields of study: Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, Data Science, IT, Environmental Science, Management Science, Quality Systems, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Management in Quality, Statistics, Aviation Technology, Aeronautics, Aeronautical Science, Aviation and Aerospace Safety, Aviation Science
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
- Up to 20% travel
- 4x10 work schedule on Shift A Monday – Thursday 6:00AM – 4:30PM
