Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Quality Engineer to support its programs by ensuring quality standards are met through various inspection and corrective action processes.
Requirements
- Experience with AS9100 and/or a similar Quality Management System standard
- than 3 years of experience performing quantitative or statistical analysis, data collection, preparation and interpretation
- More than 1 year of experience presenting technical briefings to various audiences
- More than 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or manufacturing support environment
- More than 1 year of experience working Root Cause Corrective Action
- More than 1 year of experience working with Non-Conformance (NCR) processes
- First Article Inspection (FAI) experience
Responsibilities
- performing First Article Inspection (FAI), Corrective Actions, Non-Conformance Review (NCR) disposition, review/approving/interpreting engineering drawing requirements, approving work instructions
- Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation.
- Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
- Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities.
- Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
- Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
- Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.

- This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
- This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
- This position may require up to 20% travel.
