Northern Trust is seeking to execute the product strategy for their digital client portal and improve the digital client experience.
Requirements
- Excellent understanding of platform technologies, including cloud migrations, back-end integrations, UI/UX design, and financial services capabilities
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Confluence)
- 3+ years of experience in Agile product management
- Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and client feedback reviews to identify opportunities for improving the digital experience
- Write clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to guide development team
- Assist in managing the product backlog, ensuring priorities align with business goals and client needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, legal, technology, and operations, to deliver high-quality products
- Track KPIs and evaluate metrics for new features, and recommend improvements
- Support product managers in preparing presentations, business cases, and updates for senior stakeholders
Other
- Good oral and written communication skills are required.
- Experienced in constructing/overseeing logical and conclusive presentations
- Good in building key relationships, influencing and negotiating with clients, partners and leaders across multiple disciplines
- Program or project management experience is advantageous; planning, analysis, design and governance
- A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required
- Financial Services industry experience
