NEOGOV is looking to hire an Associate Product Manager - Payroll to lead the development and execution of the product strategy for their workforce management solution, ensuring it meets customer needs, remains competitive, compliant, and scalable within the public sector.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of product management experience or at least 3-5 years focused on Time and Attendance applications in client-facing roles providing solutions to business challenges, typically in implementation, solution architect, or support roles.
- In-depth knowledge of workforce management processes, compliance, and regulations, including FLSA overtime and FMLA.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Proficiency in product management tools such as JIRA, Aha!, or similar.
- Familiarity with workforce management software and integrations with HRIS and Payroll systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the product strategy and roadmap, aligning it with company goals and market needs.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, including engineering, design, operations, and customer support, to ensure the product meets user needs and compliance requirements.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends, regulatory changes, and customer needs.
- Lead the product development process, from ideation to launch.
- Work with engineering teams to define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Ensure that the product complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product and monitor its performance.
