The Ohio State University is seeking an Associate Professor - Research to address the needs of the Medicine department, specifically in the area of Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep, with a focus on research, service, and/or teaching or clinical practice.
Requirements
- Earned doctorate or other terminal degree in the relevant field of study
- Equivalent experience in the field of Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep
- Knowledge of research methods and statistical analysis
- Experience with data collection and analysis
- Strong understanding of the principles of research ethics
- Ability to design and conduct studies
- Experience with grant writing and management
Responsibilities
- Research in the field of Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep
- Service to the university and the community
- Teaching or clinical practice in the field of Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep
- Conducting studies and gathering data
- Analyzing and interpreting research results
- Developing and implementing new treatments or therapies
