The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Real-Time Software Engineer to support the Electrostatically Supported Gyro Navigator Replacement (ESGNR) software team. This team develops and maintains real-time operational software for a United States Navy submarine navigator, integrating sensor data, implementing algorithms, and interfacing with other subsystems to meet mission requirements.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in real-time software development
- 1+ years of experience programming in C/C++
- 1+ years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (including Requirements Analysis, Design, Code, Integration & Test)
- 1+ years of experience in software development and testing tools (e.g., editors, compilers, linkers, simulations, configuration management tools, requirements management tools) capability and usage
- Experience with software lifecycle practices, agile methodology, and repositories, such as JIRA and Git
- Experience developing in Linux and Windows environments
- Experience with real-time software architecture, development, design
Responsibilities
- Assists with the development, documentation and maintenance of real-time software designs and interfaces
- Implement navigation algorithms in source code
- Assists with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met
- Deploys software processes and tools
- Troubleshoots software issues
- Works collaboratively and under general supervision

- Ability to obtain U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance
- Less than 10% travel
- Must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
