The Public Drinking Water Branch needs to manage and maintain accurate lead and copper databases, ensuring data quality and compliance with regulations for public water systems.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Update the Public Drinking Water Branch’s lead and copper databases with monitoring data as it comes into the Branch, and assemble packets for mailing to public water systems;
- Oversee the certification process for the required publication of 90 th percentile results by public water systems for lead and copper;
- Work with the Lead and Copper Rule manager regarding potential violations and sample schedule notifications;
- Pull queries and reports from the Safe Drinking Water Information System (SDWIS) database in response to data requests from Branch staff, DNR regional office staff, and the general public;
- Review inspection reports of public water systems and make appropriate updates in the SDWIS database;
- Ensure data quality and accuracy of SDWIS inventory data so public water system data can be relied on by department staff and the general public.

- Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience and/or appropriate certification
