The Mount Sinai Health System is looking to derive insights from research data to advance their research objectives by hiring an Associate Researcher I.
Requirements
Experience with Data Science related to the cardiovascular field.
Experience with data visualization tools and biostatistics.
Understanding of statistical concepts, data cleaning, and exploratory data analysis.
Prior experience contributing to peer-reviewed research or publications.
Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and manage datasets from various sources.
Conduct statistical analyses, develop visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings.
Support study design, data documentation, and quality control processes.
Assist in drafting research manuscripts, abstracts, and grant applications.
Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity, reproducibility, and compliance with institutional and ethical standards.
Stay current on data analysis methodologies and emerging tools relevant to the research area.

Bachelors or Masters degree in science or related field required
No experience required. One year of research experience preferred.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and documentation skills.
Ability to communicate results effectively in written and verbal formats.
