Prellis Bio is looking to solve long-standing industry-wide problems in the drug development pipeline by combining novel methods in machine learning, biology at scale, and next-gen antibody discovery.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in single B cell sequencing techniques (e.g., 10x Genomics, CITE-Seq, FACS B cells).
  • Working knowledge/experience in NGSlibrary prep, QC, and sequencer operation.
  • Comfortable working with LIMS/ELN systems, and basic data handling in Excel.
  • Direct experience in biotech or academic antibody discovery programs.
  • Working knowledge in B cell immunology or antibody biology.
  • Familiarity with automated liquid handlers or high-throughput molecular biology workflows.
  • Interest in complex data analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and establish high-throughput single B cell VH-VL recovery and NGS workflows (e.g., 10xGenomics, CITE-Seq)from diverse discovery sources, including organoid-derived B cells and immunized animals.
  • Perform RNA/DNA extraction, cDNA synthesis, PCR amplification, and NGS library preparation.
  • Conduct routine QC of sequencing libraries (Bioanalyzer/TapeStation, Qubit, qPCR) and coordinate sequencing operations with internal and external partners.
  • Support antibody sequence/repertoire analysis and report generation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with biology and expression teams to ensure successful progression of pipeline projects.
  • Maintain accurate and complete experimental records in electronic lab notebooks (ELN) and contribute to SOP development and optimization.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and scalability efforts for high-throughput sequencing pipelines.

Other

  • BSc or M.S. in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or related field with 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively across various scientific disciplines
  • Good initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
