General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is looking to solve the problem of developing and maintaining software for sensor data processing, exploitation, and management for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) related programs.
Requirements
- Experience in developing in Object Oriented Design (OOD) and Development is preferred.
- Experience in working in any of the following technologies is preferred; C-Sharp, WPF, IP protocols and MSSQL/MONGO database.
- Strong conceptual understanding of software, development concepts, theory, and operations.
- Solid background in object oriented design and development.
- Experience with automated testing and troubleshooting
- Experience with sensor data processing and exploitation
- Experience with Windows application development
Responsibilities
- Windows application development for sensor data processing, exploitation and management software throughout the software life-cycle.
- Software Developer programming duties shall include implementing high end user interfaces to process, exploit and manage sensors (e.g. EO/IR, radar) data for ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) related programs.
- Writing and executing automated tests, analyzing and reporting test results, integrating automated sensor simulation, and developing test tools.
- Significant time will be spent integrating software components into a larger system, troubleshooting networking and other issues.
- Will assist in all areas of software development including gathering requirements, designing, coding, testing, fixing, deploying and documenting.

- Typically requires a bachelors degree in computer science, information systems or related discipline. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- Travel to onsite locations will be required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance is required.
