GEDC is undergoing a transformation to revolutionize its technology platform, expand service offerings, and create a personalized patient experience. This role will contribute to maintaining and developing software to support these initiatives.
Requirements
- Windows PC, Microsoft Office, Web Browsers, VPN Tools
- Visual Studio 2022 or equivalent major Development Environment experience.
- .NET, MSSQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and Git.
Responsibilities
- Performs new software development, maintenance and modifications to programs currently in production to keep them responsive to user needs, and to assure efficient operation in the production environment.
- Perform pair programming with other developers to gain knowledge of the technical stack.
- Helps to develop new programs according to provided specifications.
- Assists in performing maintenance and modification of programs currently in use.
- Modifies or expands coding to accomplish specified processing changes. Completes required testing of modified programs to ensure programs operate correctly and changes have not adversely impacted programs or system operations.
- Participates in problem analysis and programming for applications in systems within his or her area of responsibility.
- Updates the program’s historical procedural documentation to reflect modification.
Other
- This position is located at the GEDC Practice Support Center in Southfield, MI and would require an on-site presence 5 days per week.
- Assists in providing timely support and assistance to systems users.
- Produces status reports on his or her activities as requested.
- Adheres to all security procedures.
- Observes all company safety policies, procedures and practice.
