The company is seeking to design, develop, and maintain embedded storage firmware for their SFA product line, requiring a skilled Associate Software Engineer to collaborate on the architecture, design, and implementation of storage system features and new storage platforms.
Requirements
- Experience in C programming
- Experience in Perl or Python (nice to have)
- Experience with phases of the development life cycle (nice to have)
- Experience with agile development processes and scrum teams (nice to have)
- Experience with cross-site development (nice to have)
- Experience with source code control and defect tracking systems (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test firmware features for the SFA storage controllers
- Isolate and resolve defects
- Collaborate with local and remote team members
- Be involved with all phases of the development life cycle including design documentation and unit test implementation as required
Other
- BS or advanced degree in Computer science, Engineering, or related field
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Participation in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed
