Data Direct Networks (DDN) is seeking an Associate Firmware Engineer to design, develop and maintain embedded storage firmware for their SFA product line, to support the company's goal of powering many of the world's most demanding AI data centers.
Requirements
- Experience in C would be beneficial.
- Experience in Perl or Python
- Experience with phases of the development life cycle
- Experience with agile development processes and scrum teams
- Experience with cross-site development
- Experience with source code control and defect tracking systems
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test firmware features for the SFA storage controllers.
- Isolate and resolve defects.
- Collaborate with local and remote team members.
- Be involved with all phases of the development life cycle including design documentation and unit test implementation as required.
Other
- BS or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Entry-level with 1 year of experience with embedded firmware development
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication skills
