Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks an Associate, Software Engineer to translate business needs into data models that support strategic solutions, optimize data flows, and ensure consistency and efficiency in data management.
Requirements
- Data modeling, data design and relational database, including SQL Server/Sybase, and Oracle

Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into data models that support strategic solutions.
- Collaborate with the Application Development team to implement data strategies, building data flows, and develop conceptual data models.
- Optimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects.
- Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency of data models.
- Reverse engineer physical data models from disparate databases and SQL scripts.
- Evaluate data models and physical databases for variances and discrepancies.
- Review modifications to existing software to improve efficiency and performance.

- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Project Manager, Project Associate, Programmer Analyst or a related role.
