- Java
- ETL tools including: Informatica, Datastage, Python and Spark
- RDBMS systems including: Oracle, MS-SQL and Teradata
- Handling Big Data in systems including: Hadoop, HDFS, and Hive
- Agile methodologies
- Shell scripts
- Python scripts
- PySpark scripts
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business and product partners to understand business problems
- Analyze business data to formulate appropriate data models
- Participate in data system architecture and design discussions
- Develop software solutions in a lean-agile methodology
- Create technical documentation for the product
- Develop code to manage high volumes of data
- Derive solutions data integration engineers using various ETL tools
Other
- Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as a Software Developer, Software Application Developer, or a related occupation
- Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days a week
