The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Software Engineer - Flight Simulation | Labs to support the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. The role will focus on either modelling and simulation of specific aircraft capabilities or the development of tooling for simulation analysis, automation, and DevSecOps.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience programming in C, C++, C, Python, Java, or Ada (or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience)
- Knowledge of basic networking principles
- Experience working on an Agile team using Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira
Responsibilities
- Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for simulation software systems
- Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system
- Develops simulation environments to support testing performed by Mission Systems engineers
- Works on an agile team in order to accomplish team goals
- Executes and documents software research and development projects
- Works under general direction

- This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
- The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
- This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security Clearance Post-Start.
