The Hartford's Tech, Data, Analytics and Cyber organization is seeking recent college graduates to build their Software Engineering career, providing development support for The Hartford's critical applications and assets.
Requirements
- Provide evidence of knowledge and experience in programming languages like CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Java, SQL, .NET or Python
- Possess the technical, analytical and communication skills to solve problems, create technical solutions and tell the story about how your work enables the business in addressing our customer needs
- Interest in software development, working on an Agile engineering team, technology, and problem solving
- Ability to self-learn new technologies
Responsibilities
- Utilize platforms (such Angular, React, Java and .NET) and cloud technologies to develop applications that support organizational goals
- Utilize programming languages and software technology while applying disciplined software engineering practices
- Develop or modify software application modules, using disciplined software engineering practices
- Engage in work that is guided by more senior members of the team
- Build and utilize end to end software solutions to develop quality software applications that support our business

- Bachelor's degree – May 2026 graduates
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0 scale) at the time of graduation
