Panasonic Connect is looking for a technical support professional to assist with software installations, modifications, upgrades, troubleshooting, and TAC support for their manufacturing software systems, ensuring customer success and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu), SQL/PostgreSQL, and network configuration.
- Basic understanding of Docker or containerized applications preferred.
- CompTIA A+ required or in progress.
- Support configuration of Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu), SQL/PostgreSQL, and basic Docker environments.
- Perform troubleshooting of application, network, and communication issues, escalating to senior engineers as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of system configurations, IP addressing, software versions, licenses, and hostIDs.
- Create or update internal guides, diagrams, and customer documentation for implemented systems.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of Panasonic manufacturing software systems (PanaCIM, iLNB, DGS) at customer sites.
- Carry out installation, modification, and repair activities under senior supervision, following approved standards and safety procedures.
- Support configuration of Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu), SQL/PostgreSQL, and basic Docker environments.
- Perform troubleshooting of application, network, and communication issues, escalating to senior engineers as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of system configurations, IP addressing, software versions, licenses, and hostIDs.
- Create or update internal guides, diagrams, and customer documentation for implemented systems.
- Support TAC and service requests as directed by senior engineers or management.
Other
- Technical Degree Required.
- 0–2 years of experience in networking, IT support, or software installation preferred.
- SMT manufacturing or industrial software experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively (often 95 % or greater), domestically and internationally, often with very short notice, with flexible work hours, including non-standard business hours, weekends, and occasional holidays, as may be necessary to meet customer project schedules and demands.
