Off Duty Management is looking for an Associate Software QA Tester to ensure the quality and proper function of their OfficerTRAK software and technology solutions, which are critical for law enforcement agency programs across the United States.
Requirements
- Ability to learn and use tools used during the software development lifecycle
- Experience testing web and mobile applications
- Experience working in the design, development, implementation, training, or support of software systems
- 2+ years’ experience in software support and testing
- Experience working in teams with an offshore/onshore model
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and documentation of test plans and test cases to provide practical testing for the product, ensuring a high level of quality
- Identify, track, and report software defects or product issues to work with stakeholders and the development team to resolve them
- Support the monitoring, triaging, and issue resolution during incident and problem management and daily operations and related tickets
- Work closely with team members to engage in design activities and ensure that functionality is aligned with requirements to meet client expectations
- Assist in the documentation of business requirements and acceptance criteria to translate business needs into design specifications that allow the development team to change the product and meet stakeholders' expected outcomes
- Review and maintain user documentation for the product
- Perform other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned by management to support organizational goals and objectives

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to serve as a liaison between the software development team and the end users
