Requirements
- Experience using Python for large dataset analysis and visualization
- Capability to follow logic in other languages (C++, shell scripts)
- Demonstrated ability to work on Linux operating systems
- Experience with the exploitation and analysis of Overhead Persistent InfraRed (OPIR) data
- Experience building and analyzing performance of Machine Learning algorithms and statistical models
- Experience using Git-based code management tools
- Fluency with object-oriented software design principles
Responsibilities
- Compiling data and information from disparate sources into standard formats for ingestion into databases or algorithms
- Writing or assisting in the development of Python scripts to process and associate large volumes of data
- Developing analysis tools in Python ranging from data readers to interactive multivariate visualizations
- Characterizing systems based on trend analysis for algorithm labeling and algorithm improvement
- Interpreting algorithm performance data into actionable recommendations for software development teams
- Designing new evaluation metrics or visualizations to gain a deeper understanding of algorithm and system performance
- Assisting in database management efforts
Other
- U.S. citizenship
- A Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences, engineering, mathematics, or computer science
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active (in-scope) TS//SCI DoD security clearance
- Good verbal and written communication skills
