The Boeing Company is looking to ensure supplier quality and compliance with contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for its commercial airplanes. This involves planning, leading, and conducting various qualifications and assessments to guarantee the quality of parts, processes, and equipment supplied by external vendors.
Requirements
- Experience with Structural Metal Bonding or Composite technologies
- Experience working with Quality Standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 14000
- Experience with injection molding and/or additive manufacturing
- Experience with AS9145, AS9102, Process Control, or Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Experience in conducting a Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) associated with a complex technical issue
- Strong knowledge of BAC and BSS Specs for composite, metal bond, injection molding, and additive manufacturing preferred.
Responsibilities
- Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
- Provides Quality interpretation of requirements.
- Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.
- Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.
- Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
- Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
- Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.

- Level 2: 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
- Capable of traveling up to 75% of the time
