NV5 is looking to support the Lidar Processing and Classification team with daily production operations, requiring a deep understanding of technical requirements and project workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of Lidar production experience, with team leadership responsibility (task lead, technical lead roles)
- Strong understanding of production workflows, quality control, and troubleshooting
- Experience with project tracking and resource management tools
- Familiarity with Lidar processing tools
- Experience with process improvement methodologies
Responsibilities
- Contribute to production by performing data processing tasks and independently handling project workflows
- Own and standardize Lidar Processing and Classification workflows to ensure consistency
- Serve as a task lead on multiple projects, delegating effectively as needed
- Oversee project tracking and report status to the team lead
- Identify and escalate project risks, establishing communication with subcontractors as needed
- Forecast and adjust team resources to ensure project deadlines are met
- Recommend task leads and define the scope of tasks for each project

- Train team members on various project workflows and tasks
- Assist with team supervision, including tracking PTO and conducting 1-on-1s
- Support the professional growth of team members through mentorship and development
- Provide performance feedback and actively support employee development
- Bachelor's degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geography, or related field
