The Treasury Capital Markets Investments team manages fixed-income investments in several portfolios totaling over $200 billion in balance sheet assets and is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their trading and portfolio management team to support and execute trades in various fixed-income instruments while seeking to optimize portfolio returns within the corporate policy, risk, and regulatory framework.
Requirements
- A knowledge of fixed income capital instruments and their risk characteristics
- Experience in trading, investing, and securities operations preferably in a trading desk environment
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Python, Bloomberg and other investment software
- Ability to negotiate trade executions
Responsibilities
- Support daily trade execution across multiple sectors
- Maintain and enhance trade desk tools, spreadsheets, and reporting
- Assist with market research, trade blotter management, and reporting
- Screen dealer inventories for appropriate investment opportunities
- Monitor trade flow to ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance with internal controls and external regulations
- Collaborate with traders, operations, and technology teams to solve trade discrepancies and ensure smooth settlement
