The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is looking to drive research for a cure and address the challenges of everyone affected by MS, and needs an AVP, Product Management to lead the product management function for strategic systems, including Salesforce, fundraising platforms, and mission-related systems.
Requirements
- 7+ years in product management or product ownership, including 3+ years managing teams.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce platforms and implementations.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, product lifecycle management, and organizational change.
- Proven ability to build and track product success metrics and product management performance indicators.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder).
- Product management certifications (e.g., Pragmatic, AIPMM, CSPO).
- Familiarity with fundraising platforms (e.g., Bonterra, DonorDrive, Classy) and health or mission delivery systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers specializing in Salesforce, Fundraising and Mission-related systems and associated integrations.
- Define and mature the product management function by building standardized practices, roles, and responsibilities tailored to product delivery.
- Develop frameworks to establish and track KPIs for product management including delivery velocity, backlog health, stakeholder satisfaction, and ROI impact.
- Oversee product management within key environments including but not limited to MarComms, Fundraising, Advocacy, Research, Programs and Support.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Salesforce Architects, Data Office, and business stakeholders to translate strategic goals into actionable product roadmaps.
- Ensure backlog quality, prioritization, and technical integrity across product initiatives.
- Serve as a central point of contact between Product Managers and IT leadership, facilitating executive visibility, risk mitigation, and resource alignment.

- Work is primarily performed remotely, however, when possible and necessary, teams meet in person to conduct the business of the organization and build team relationships.
