La-Z-Boy Incorporated is looking to deliver a distinctive in-store experience for consumers by executing company-directed visual merchandising strategies
Requirements
Understanding of visual merchandising principles and techniques
Strong design taste, sense of style, culture, art, design, fashion, innovation, and technology
Familiar with inventory management principles
Ability to use repetitive hand motion, hear, listen, talk, stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb stairs, climb ladders, kneel, squat, crouch, crawl, balance, reach overhead, pull, push, and lift up to or over 50 pounds
Responsibilities
Execute visually appealing showroom displays to drive greater conversion in-stores and increase brand loyalty
Follow planograms as established by visual leadership to position upholstered furniture, tables, lamps, accessories, and artwork to enhance the overall presentation of the showroom
Refresh and update floor sets based on new intros, seasonal floor sets, upcoming promotions and inventory strategies
Receive, tag, and transfer merchandise within the retail showroom
Assemble furniture and climb ladders to hang accessories or pictures as needed
Assist with merchandising for new stores, store closings, and regional remodels
Collaborate with the store manager and other members of the visual merchandising team on merchandising efforts

0-2 years of experience in a visual merchandising, or related field
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to travel to multiple stores in a geographic region
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
