Liberty Mutual is seeking an experienced Agile Metrics Lead to define, collect, analyze, and report key Agile and delivery metrics across software development and business teams
Requirements
- Deep understanding and experience with Agile practice, metrics and methods as well as advanced analytics and Business Intelligence knowledge (preferably in PowerBI)
- Strong understanding of complex multi-tier, multi-platform systems
- Experience with coding for data management, data warehousing, or other data environments, including NoSQL implementation, ETL, Java, scripting languages (Python, Perl, Shell), and the Hadoop stack
- Experience as developer with top quadrant Business Intelligence tools
- Knowledge of visualization and user experience technologies
- Understanding of metadata, lineage, business definitions, compliance, and data security
- Experience with PowerBI
Responsibilities
- Independently prototypes/develops data solutions of high complexity to meet the needs of the organization and business customers
- Designs proof-of-concept solutions utilizing an advanced understanding of multiple coding languages to meet technical and business requirements
- Acts as a technical leader and mentor to the team
- Designs and develops data solutions that enables effective self-service data consumption
- Collaborates with stakeholders in defining metrics that are impactful to the business
- Prioritize efforts based on customer value
- Displays a strong understanding of complex multi-tier, multi-platform systems
Other
- Strong written and oral communication skills required
- Bachelor`s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline preferred
- Master`s in same or related disciplines strongly preferred
- 5-7+ years experience in related field
- Ability to work with IT to help scale prototypes
