BDO is looking for energetic self-starters to join their IS Assurance practice as interns. The interns will assist experienced team members in serving the firm's dynamic client base by utilizing their educational background and organizational skills to solve problems and gather facts.
Requirements
- Documents and tests application and automated controls on a wide range of software application packages
- Assists in the preparation of audit reports and recommendations associated with IS audit work performed
- Participates in the review of internal controls based on Sarbanes-Oxley Act requirements
- Conducts client interviews to obtain relevant information for non-complex clients
- Performs walkthroughs of client controls
- Documents controls, tests performed and results
- Prepares workpapers in the required format
Responsibilities

Other
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or Information Systems, required
- Pursuing a Masters in Information Systems or other relevant advanced degree, preferred
- Past leadership experience, preferred
- Prior internship or work study experience of information systems and operational auditing experience, preferred
- Ability to travel as necessary
