BDO is looking to address external compliance requirements in technology, security, system processing, and privacy for large global and growth companies through their Third Party Attestation (TPA) practice
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, required
- Focus in Accounting or Information Systems, preferred
- Prior Internship or experience working within a public accounting or internal auditing environment, preferred
- Leadership experience, preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions as directed
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
Responsibilities
- Testing and documenting internal control systems in a variety of industries
- Participating in the review of internal controls
- Assisting in the preparation of reports and recommendations associated with work performed
- Preparing work papers in accordance with BDO policy
- Developing and maintaining relationships with engagement team and client personnel
- Applying educational background to work performed
- Learning how to prepare third-party attestation reports, including System and Organization Controls (SOC) 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, SOC for Cybersecurity and WebTrust for CAs, as well as HITRUST, SSPA, ISO, MRC and CSA STAR
Other
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent, required
- Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, required
- Ability and willingness to travel, as needed, required
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels
