Requirements
- AuD or PhD candidacy
- 4th year of an accredited graduate program in Audiology
- Eligible for state licensure after 12 months of the Professional Experience Year
- Related pediatric experience
Responsibilities
- Complete required daily/weekly activities and documentation to ensure accurate scheduling, exchange of clinical information, reporting, referrals and charges.
- Formulate, maintain, support, monitor and modify a patient-specific plan for care, treatment and rehabilitation based on the patient's assessment under supervision of assigned preceptor.
- Plan and coordinate care, treatment and rehabilitation for discharged patients.
- Perform all routine and some specialty diagnostic evaluations under supervision of assigned preceptor.
- Choose and administer appropriate tests according to standard procedures.
- Assess communication skills, make accurate diagnoses, appropriate recommendations and referrals.
- Provide evaluation results and counseling to parents in an effective manner.

- Ensure that all documentation is approved by assigned preceptor.
- Supports and participates in performance improvement activities.
- Participates in peer review.
- Actively participates on specialty team.
- Completes required training and education and communicates regularly with preceptor, manager and education coordinator.
