Requirements
- Background in Engineering or Science, with suitable academic fields including Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Physics, and Materials Science
- Strong interest in nanoscale IC design
- Experience with CMOS design, radiation-hardened ICs, and AI/ML-driven circuits
- Knowledge of analogue-to-digital (ADC) and digital-to-analogue (DAC) converters
- Familiarity with charge-pump phase-locked loops (CP-PLL), chiplet architecture, and advanced packaging
- Programming skills in languages relevant to IC design and development
- Experience with industry-standard design and simulation tools
Responsibilities
- Develop new technologies in CMOS and mixed-signal IC design
- Address challenges in ultra-low-power, high-performance applications in wireline, wireless, and sensing systems
- Contribute to advancements in sectors such as telecommunications, computing, and sensor technologies
- Work on mixed-signal silicon chip design, with an emphasis on analogue-to-digital (ADC) and digital-to-analogue (DAC) converters
- Investigate charge-pump phase-locked loops (CP-PLL), chiplet architecture, and advanced packaging
- Collaborate with industry partners, particularly with Atto Devices
- Gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art tools and receive industry-aligned training
