Sonepar Management Group (SMG) is seeking Automated Quality Assurance/SDET Engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of software products by developing automated tests, identifying and resolving defects, and collaborating with development teams.
Requirements
- Integration with Azure DevOps (setting up pipeline and key vaults)
- Selenium grid mocking tool
- Knowledge of any Compatibility tool; Sauce or Browserstack
- Knowledge of Visual regression tool; WebdriverCss or Percy
- Accessibility testing knowledge using axe-core or similar.
- Page Performance tool; Sitespeed/Lighthouse
- 2+ years of strong working knowledge in Node.js, WDIO, OOPS principles, framework design, BDD Cucumber concepts, GIT, Jira & Xray, API testing, load testing, continuous testing, and automation testing scripts.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive test plans and design test cases to cover all aspects of the software.
- Conduct manual and automated tests to identify bugs and issues.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
- Create and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Document and report defects found during testing.
- Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues.
- Analyze test results and processes to identify areas for improvement.
Other
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- Be authorized to work for Sonepar in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
- Work on-site at our Irving, Texas or Denver, Colorado location, hybrid schedule
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven track record of leading projects and mentoring junior staff members.
