Northrop Grumman's Space Sector is seeking an Automated-Testing Systems Engineer to define the art of the possible in missions of paramount importance, requiring the creation of automated testing environments and scripts to verify drivers and ensure systems/software standards are met.

Requirements

• Experience with Satellite Ground Software System verification including Command and Control (C2) and Space vehicle mission management
• Experience with integration and test (planning, execution, and documentation)
• Experience with different testing tools and automation
• Experience with programming languages (Python, MATLAB, C, C++, Java)
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Visio, Cameo, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket
• Experience with Systems Tool Kit (SDK)
• Experience with Gherkin/Cucumber, Gitlab

Responsibilities

• Create the automated testing environment and scripts.
• Work with the various systems/software elements to verify drivers.
• Onboard the SEIT and SW teams with Gherkin style and Zephyr.
• Function with agile principles to execute efficiently in an environment of continuous feedback.
• Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
• Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
• Ensures systems/software standards are met.

Other

• Requires an active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance at the time of application
• Must be willing/able to submit for and successfully pass a polygraph
• Favorably adjudicated CI or FS polygraph
• This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.
