Banesco USA is seeking an Automation Developer to design, develop, test, and deploy Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions and automation workflows to enhance business activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in RPA development and maintenance, preferably with exposure to technologies like Blue Prism, UiPath, or Automation Anywhere.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in workflow development and maintenance, with exposure to platforms such as Pega Workflows or similar.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience with database administration, SQL querying, and report generation (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, AS400).
  • Proven experience in low-code development, creating solutions that enhance or support business activities.
  • Familiarity with modern software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum).
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI, SQL Reporting Services, Microsoft Visual Studio, and Cognos.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (client and server), Oracle, AS400.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions and automation workflows.
  • Implement automation solutions using low-code/no-code platforms and traditional coding methods to enhance business activities.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting to support automated processes.
  • Ensure all automation solutions adhere to Banesco USA's established design and coding standards, maintaining solution and environment integrity.
  • Actively participate in the full automation development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for existing automation solutions, ensuring operability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support business drivers and reporting needs through the development of web-based reports and ad-hoc analysis tools.

Other

  • Collaborate with the Automation Team Lead and business units to identify, analyze, and document business processes suitable for automation.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for functional requirements, solution design, and scope to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Maintain constant communication within the automation team, actively cross-training and sharing knowledge of new developments and solutions.
  • Ensure all developed solutions comply with the bank’s policies and procedures, including IT policy, Risk Management, and regulatory guidelines (e.g., BSA/AML).
  • Bilingual proficiency in both English and Spanish (fluency in speaking, understanding, reading, and writing) is highly preferred
