Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering
• 3+ years of experience with automation and optimization technologies
• 2+ years of experience with scripting or programming, including with Python or Groovy
• Experience with Jira Service Manager, Confluence, and the Atlassian suite
• Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, and Lambda
• Experience with Mattermost chat services
• Experience with GitLab

Responsibilities

• Automate service desk processes using native solutions and external APIs
• Develop and maintain automation workflows within the Atlassian ecosystem
• Design, implement, integrate, and maintain systems and tools to automate complex cyber activities
• Apply specific functional knowledge, including working and general industry knowledge
• Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
• Work with tools such as Jira Service Manager and Confluence, as part of our Atlassian suite
• Leveraging AWS cloud services

Other

• Ability to make decisions based on limited information
• Ability to work independently and unsupervised, and be a self-starter
• TS/SCI clearance
• Ability to obtain an 8570 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+ CE Certification, before start date
• Possession of strong problem-solving and creativity skills
