Stanley Black & Decker is looking for an Automation Engineering Manager to oversee electrical and robotic engineering activities, provide engineering support, and manage projects to improve production operations and equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years of leadership experience required.
- Safety standards NFPA 70E- Lockout Tagout, coach and hold team accountable for safety procedures.
- Strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC, robotics, and mechanical background.
- Lead equipment/systems trouble shooting and repair.
- Proven experience with project development and management through successful completion.
- Working knowledge of CAD, mechanical drawings, blueprint reading, and advanced arithmetic.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate schedules, follow up of assignments, and training of new engineering personnel.
- Assist in the selection, qualification, and development of all engineering and maintenance personnel.
- Work in a professional environment to design and implement production related equipment.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Facility, and Engineering departments to provide input and direction for production operations.
- Participate in the design and acquisition of new machines and equipment.
- Provide timely, unbiased, and effective performance evaluations for engineering personnel.
- Maintain all documentation required to establish trends, monitor cost effectiveness, track labor force, and schedule accordingly.
